Take the 35-question multiple-choice Technician class exam.
Questions are on basic Amateur Radio knowledge.
Cost is $10 for the exam.
Purchase the "Now You Are Talking, Technician Class" book for $20. The book can be purchased from the ARRL web site arrl.org.
You can self-teach yourself or come to one of our meetings and borrow a VHS instructional video, put out by them ARRL (the same group who made the textbook).

*This class can be bypassed if you pass the Morse Code exam and General class exam in the same night.
